Hello, my name is Mark Russell & I am the owner of Just Hair @ Mark Russell. I started my hairdressing career in London many many years ago and have owned several salons since the mid eighties. I have been lucky enough to find a career that I fell in love with & still feel passionate about to this very day. I discovered that if I could make people smile that I in turn would be smiling myself. There is no better way of doing this than the creativity of hairdressing.
I am a qualified Beauty Therapist who is passionate about my work and my goal is to make people feel more confident about themselves. I have worked in both Salons and Spas, such as Champneys and South Lodge and have established myself in the area as a highly skilled Beauty, Massage & Sports Massage Therapist. I have bought my experiences and skills with me into the salon and offer a wide range of beauty treatments within a private room at Just Hair.
I joined the salon in 2006 & am now privileged to be Managing our great team and taking care of the day to day running. During my time with Just Hair, I have gained qualifications in colour and blow drying which allows me to get involved with our clients personally too. I truly love to be around people and enjoy helping our clients to feel their experience with us is special.
I became part of the Just Hair family 4 years ago and have over 25 years experience in the industry. I love all aspects of hairdressing & still enjoy adding to my skill set with ongoing training. Since starting at Just Hair the team have become not only work colleagues but great friends who support each other throughout the working day and beyond, which in this industry is invaluable.
I began my hairdressing journey in 2017 here at Just Hair. I am so passionate about all aspects of hairdressing and have been lucky enough to expand my skills at Academies such as Sassoon, L’Oreal, Hair for Men and Milkshake. I have also trained in Bridal Hair, which I absolutely love, as well as Hair-up for all occasions.
Behind the scenes is our great support Marie, an extremely busy team member keeping control of the salon. Marie's role foremost is to look after you and to support the stylists as well as to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the salon. Marie is always here to greet you with a welcoming happy smile and to help make your visit with us a memorable one.
